Sprouting Nuts and Seeds

Nuts and seeds are extremely healthy, but most nuts and seeds should be sprouted.  Why? Because sprouting removes enzyme inhibitors and increases mineral absorption. Almonds, in particular, contain an enzyme inhibitor which can only be removed through the sprouting process.   To sprout nuts or seeds, simply put them in a warm, moist setting for 3 to 7 days, depending on the conditions and type of seeds being used.
