Almonds – Soaked

Almonds are not nutritional powerhouses, but they do contain protein, fiber and omega fatty acids which make them a staple of the vegan diet.  Like all nuts, almonds should always be soaked in water for at least 12hours before consuming them because they contain an enzyme inhibitor.
